About the Role
Video is the most powerful tool in real estate marketing, and AptLok is investing heavily in it. As our Videographer & Editor, you'll produce content that serves all three pillars of our business. For builders and developers, you'll create professional property walkthrough videos that showcase their projects on aptlok.com and YouTube — helping them attract buyers through immersive visual storytelling. For our newsroom, you'll produce weekly 3-minute roundup videos using AI-generated scripts that position AptLok as Hyderabad's most informed real estate voice. For our mobile app users, you'll create short testimonial and feature highlight videos that drive adoption among apartment communities.
You'll work with Property Scouts who identify the best properties to shoot, with the marketing team who distributes your content across channels, and with builders who want their projects filmed. Some weeks you'll be at a luxury villa in Jubilee Hills; others you'll be capturing an emerging township in Kompally. The variety is what makes this role exciting — no two shoots are the same, and your portfolio will grow rapidly across property types, styles, and formats.
We're looking for someone who can do it all: shoot, edit, color-grade, add graphics, and deliver. If you've ever watched a property video and thought "I could do this way better," this is your platform to prove it at scale. Your videos will be watched by thousands of property seekers, shared by builders with their clients, and featured across AptLok's growing digital presence.
What You'll Do
- Shoot property walkthrough videos for builders and developers — apartments, villas, plots, and commercial spaces listed on aptlok.com
- Produce weekly 3-minute newsroom roundup videos from AI-generated scripts for AptLok's YouTube channel
- Create short-form content (30-60 sec) for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Film apartment community testimonials and mobile app feature demonstrations for marketing campaigns
- Edit all content with professional color grading, text overlays, background music, and AptLok branding
- Coordinate with Property Scouts and sales team to schedule shoots at high-priority properties
- Operate drone for aerial shots of communities, builder projects, and locality overviews (preferred)
- Manage and organize video assets, maintain consistent brand quality standards
Equipment
We provide professional lighting and audio equipment. You should have your own camera (DSLR/mirrorless) or high-end smartphone capable of 4K. Drone operators with DGCA certification get a significant hiring advantage. Editing is done on our workstations with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of video production experience — real estate content preferred
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Experience creating short-form social media content (Reels/Shorts)
- Own camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless) or flagship smartphone
- Drone operation with DGCA certification (significant advantage)
- Basic motion graphics in After Effects (bonus)
- Ability to work independently on field shoots across Hyderabad
