About the Role
At AptLok, acquiring a client — whether it's an apartment community deploying the mobile app or a builder listing properties on the website — is just the beginning. The real value is built in the months that follow: ensuring the apartment committee actively uses gate security and payment features, making sure residents download and engage with the app, helping builders optimize their listings for maximum inquiries, and identifying opportunities to expand the relationship. As an Account Manager, you own this entire post-onboarding journey across both client types.
For apartment communities, you'll be the go-to person for the management committee. When they struggle with the payment module, you train them. When residents complain about notification overload, you configure it. When they want to add gate security or the parking module, you facilitate the upgrade. Your goal is 100% feature adoption and a community that actively recommends AptLok to neighboring societies.
For builders, you'll ensure their property listings are optimized with the right photos, descriptions, and pricing. You'll share performance data — views, inquiries, and leads generated. You'll recommend which properties should get YouTube video walkthroughs and coordinate the shoots. You'll upsell premium placements, featured listings, and AptLok newsroom coverage. A well-managed builder account doesn't just renew — it expands to cover all their current and upcoming projects.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of 30-50 apartment communities using AptLok's mobile app — drive adoption, handle issues, and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct monthly check-ins with apartment committee members to track app usage, resolve problems, and identify upsell opportunities
- Manage builder accounts — optimize property listings on aptlok.com, share performance reports, and recommend video shoots for YouTube
- Train apartment committees and residents on new features: gate security, payment tracking, visitor management, parking module
- Identify at-risk accounts and proactively address churn signals before they escalate
- Coordinate with the content team to schedule YouTube property walkthroughs for premium builder clients
- Collect testimonials, case studies, and referrals from satisfied communities and builders
- Track account health metrics and report weekly to leadership with actionable insights
Impact
Your portfolio directly impacts AptLok's recurring revenue and market reputation. A well-managed apartment community generates 3-5 referrals. A satisfied builder lists all their projects exclusively with AptLok. You're not managing spreadsheets — you're building the engine of scalable, relationship-driven growth.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years in client success, account management, or customer-facing roles
- Experience with SaaS, property management, or proptech preferred
- Ability to manage both technical (app) and commercial (listing) client relationships
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication in English, Telugu, and Hindi
- Data-driven approach — comfortable with dashboards, metrics, and reporting
- Empathetic listener with a solutions-first mindset
