Business Development Executive
About the Role
As a Business Development Executive at AptLok, you'll work on two critical revenue streams that define our business. First, you'll approach apartment complexes, gated communities, and villa projects to deploy AptLok's community management mobile app — helping them digitize gate security, maintenance payments, complaints, and resident communication. Second, you'll engage with builders, independent apartment developers, and individual house builders to list their properties on aptlok.com, giving them visibility to thousands of active property seekers in Hyderabad.
This is a field-heavy, relationship-driven role. You'll meet Apartment Association presidents and secretaries to pitch the mobile app, demonstrate its gate security and payment features, and guide them through onboarding. On the builder side, you'll visit construction sites, attend property expos, and build a pipeline of developers who want their projects featured on AptLok's website and YouTube channel. Your ability to understand both audiences — community managers who want operational efficiency and builders who want marketing reach — will be the key to your success.
AptLok is not just a listing platform. We offer builders a complete marketing package: property listings on aptlok.com, professional video walkthroughs on our YouTube channel, newsroom coverage, and targeted digital campaigns. As a BDE, you'll be the bridge between these services and the clients who need them.
What You'll Do
- Identify and approach apartment complexes and gated communities for AptLok mobile app deployment — pitch gate security, payment tracking, and community management features
- Meet Apartment Association committees to demonstrate the app and handle onboarding end-to-end
- Engage builders, independent developers, and house builders to list their properties on aptlok.com
- Pitch AptLok's complete marketing package: website listings, YouTube video tours, newsroom features, and digital campaigns
- Identify premium properties suitable for video shoots and coordinate with the content team for YouTube walkthroughs
- Build and maintain a pipeline using CRM tools with weekly reporting on prospects, demos, and closures
- Attend real estate expos, builder events, and Apartment Association meetings to generate leads
- Achieve monthly targets for both community onboarding and property listings
What Success Looks Like
Within 3 months, you'll have onboarded your first 5 apartment communities onto the mobile app and listed 20+ builder properties on the website. Within 6 months, you'll be a trusted name among Hyderabad's apartment associations and builder community. Within a year, you could be leading a team of BDEs as AptLok expands to new cities.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, real estate, or property tech
- Strong networking skills — comfortable meeting apartment committees and builders
- Fluent in English and Telugu (Hindi is a plus)
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and comfort with field visits
- Own vehicle preferred for site visits across Hyderabad
- Understanding of apartment management challenges is a big plus
