About the Role

As AptLok's Receptionist, you're the first person our clients interact with — and our clients include Apartment Association committee members visiting for mobile app demos, builders coming to discuss property listings, videographers dropping off equipment, and property scouts checking in between field visits. Every day brings a different set of faces and conversations, and your ability to make each visitor feel welcomed and efficiently directed sets the tone for AptLok's professional image.

This isn't a passive front-desk role. You'll coordinate meeting room bookings for builder presentations, help the sales team prepare demo materials for apartment committee visits, manage incoming calls from associations asking about the mobile app, and support the admin team with documentation and office operations. In a startup like AptLok, the receptionist is the operational glue that keeps everything organized while the teams are out in the field closing deals, shooting videos, and onboarding communities.

We're looking for someone warm, organized, and proactive — someone who can handle a builder call, a courier delivery, and a team meeting setup simultaneously without breaking a sweat. Our office is modern and collaborative, and you'll interact with the founding team daily. Many of our admin team members have grown into operations, HR, and client coordination roles within their first year.

What You'll Do

  • Greet Apartment Association members, builders, partners, and visitors with a professional, welcoming demeanor
  • Manage incoming calls — route apartment community inquiries to sales, builder queries to listings team, and general queries appropriately
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings for builder property presentations and apartment app demos
  • Help sales team prepare materials for Apartment Association committee visits
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier, and deliveries including property documents
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors
  • Assist HR with onboarding documentation for new hires
  • Support admin team with data entry, filing, and basic CRM updates

Work Environment

Our office buzzes with energy — sales teams returning from builder meetings, scouts uploading property photos, and the marketing team editing YouTube videos. You'll be at the center of it all, with direct visibility into how a fast-growing proptech startup operates.

What We're Looking For

  • Pleasant personality and professional appearance
  • Excellent communication in English and Telugu (Hindi is a plus)
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Previous front desk or customer-facing experience preferred
