The 16th NAREDCO Telangana Property Show opened at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad on Friday, 30 October 2026, with more than 500 real estate projects on display, and ran until 1 November. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated the three-day exhibition, according to Deccan Chronicle and The Hans India.
What was on show
The exhibition brought developers and financial institutions together under one roof. It featured apartments, villas, plotted developments and commercial properties across Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, according to The Hans India. It was open from 10 am to 8 pm, and participating lenders offered guidance on home loans and financing options so visitors could compare projects side by side.
NAREDCO Telangana secretary-general R. Venkateswara Rao said the show catered to first-time homebuyers, those upgrading their homes, and investors looking at residential and commercial property. NAREDCO Telangana represents more than 350 developers and six affiliated organisations, The Hans India reported.
Government infrastructure numbers
Speaking at the inauguration, Bhatti Vikramarka said the government had prepared designs for development works worth ₹74,000 crore in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, of which projects worth ₹55,000 crore had been sanctioned, according to Deccan Chronicle. He said tendering was under way for several works and some had already started, and that people would see large-scale infrastructure development and construction activity across Hyderabad within a year.
What the industry asked for
NAREDCO Telangana president K. Sreedhar Reddy urged the government to reduce GST on construction materials and commercial rentals, resolve input tax credit issues, and review the 18 per cent GST on commercial leases, The Hans India reported. He also asked for consultations with the industry on new revenue sources instead of higher charges, citing an increase in synergy charges from ₹3 to ₹8.
What it means for homebuyers
Property shows are a convenient way to compare many builders at once, but a stall is not a verification. Before paying any booking amount, check the project's registration on the Telangana RERA portal, ask for the written final price including parking, corpus fund and GST, and confirm approvals.
