Hyderabad to host IREC 2026, the seventh International Real Estate Conference, from 25 September

Hyderabad will host the seventh International Real Estate Conference (IREC 2026) from 25 to 27 September at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, the first time India has hosted the global platform. More than 1,500 delegates from over 35 countries are expected to discuss investment, technology, innovation and sustainable development.

Theme and programme

IREC 2026 is themed "The Door to What Happens Next". It will examine the forces reshaping global real estate, including changing economic priorities, international investment flows, AI, PropTech and DeepTech, and sustainable development. It brings together three platforms: the International Real Estate Conference itself, a PropTech and Real Estate Innovation Showcase, and a Luxury Property Expo.

Who is behind it

The event has been awarded to NAR-India and is hosted operationally by the Hyderabad Realtors Association. NAR-India chairman Sumanth Reddy Arani said India has reached a stage where its developers, professionals and projects are increasingly operating at global standards. IREC 2026 chair Shailender Singh said the aim is to create a platform that connects India with what is happening next in global real estate.

Why Hyderabad

Hosting the conference reflects Hyderabad's standing as one of India's most active property markets. According to Knight Frank, the city recorded 9,541 home sales in Q1 2026, with the weighted average price up 9% year-on-year to ₹8,211 per sq ft, while its western corridor continues to set records for land and office leasing.
